Learn what you can do to help support local projects that are world leaders in cutting edge research to manage climate change and its devastating effects!

Please join us for a talk by two Marin County researchers about their work on the latest tools in understanding and mitigating climate change and the impact on the carbon and water cycles.

John and Gabby will explain how modern genomic testing is enabling us to understand how climate change impacts the very base of the food chain, and how that cascades into everyday life, including everything from water conservation to carbon sequestration.

Gabby will discuss her work, showing the application of these new tools, in the DNA Everywhere/SOIL project in Haiti, where cutting edge genomic technology is being used to assure the safety of composting of sanitary waste, and its applications in the 3rd world, the developed world, and locally in Marin.
